A 2003 Mercury Marauder for sale

A potential 2003 Mercury Marauder owner

Hi guys :) .

A friend of mine found a nice 2003 MM . He wants to buy it but he has some questions .

His questions are will the Ford cord Crown Victoria engine parts fit into the Marauders like the spark plugs , oil filters ,transmission filter, etc .... you know the routine checks ???and what are the different parts between them ???

The Marauder and Crown Vic are on the same panther platform and may use some common replacement parts. The Marauder engine is all-aluminum and really should be treated gently with the best of everything. Putting parts into the Marauder is no place to cut corners. Make no mistake - this can be an expensive vehicle to own and maintain. Not because of reliability though.
 
We only have here the Ford Crown Victoria , Mercury Grand Marquis ,and the Lincoln Town Car . Our Mercury dealer only sells parts for panthers with 2V engine and I know the Marauder has a 4V engine .
 
Most internal parts are the same as a Mustang Mach1, which is in many cases the same as a Cobra. Service parts like transmission filter and oil filter are the same as the Crown Vic. Air filter is a little different, but the Crown Vic filter will fit in a pinch. It's better to get an aftermarket air filter anyway, something like a K&N or Fram Air Hog.

he saied that he took this pic in his college and he upload it in some forums and he ask him how he got this pic

and also he told him you can ask me about the engine parts coz he have a good information about the MM
