Here are some pics of the floor mats. They are used, but in overall good condition. I just finished off steam cleaning them. Clean and ready for a new Marauder owner.

Rims

Here some pics of two rims, the other two rims I'm still working on detailing them before I take pics of.

These two are already detailed inside and out as best as I could. Tires are not included, they are bald and need to be discarded anyway.

Here are some more pics. If you want to see them all go to this link:

Those wheels are in much better shape than mine so I would like them but couldn't afford the shipping. I'll probably be cheaper to get mine sanded down and repainted than to ship these across the pond.

Speaking of the floor mats just a quick question that I've always been wondering, what is the hole in the passenger mat for?

Good luck with the sale!

All PM's replied. Pending sale for floor mats.

MGDriver, I would be willing to check how much it costs to ship them to Germany. Please send me a PM so I can check location and I'll look it up via USPS.

The hole in the mats are to keep the floor mats in place. There is a hook on the floor board, right below the seats, that acts as an anchor to keep the mats from sliding forward. This specially true when the spikes on the underside of the mats (not sure what they are called) are wore out that allows the mats to slide all over the place (we don't want that). The hook will also prevent the mats from getting underneath the accelerator, or the brakes if they happen to slide forward.

As an anecdote. On my previous Marauder, I had that happened to me. My floor mat hook was gone, and as I was accelerating somehow I managed to get the mats underneath the accelerator which kept the accelerator stuck at WOT! Long story short, it took some effort to get the mat unstuck as I was quickly accelerating over 50mph on a 35mph zone until I place the gear in neutral. Phew!

That was a "fun" Toyota experience.

Whilst I'm curious to find out how much it would be, I'm pretty certain I won't be able to afford it and I really don't want to waste your time.

Okay that makes sense but there is no such hook in my car so I'm guessing it snapped off at some point. Is there a way to replace this hook?

That certainly sounds like a good Toyota experience there, glad you managed to unstuck it whilst being fully alert to place the gear in neutral!

No problem Mgdriver! :)

I think you should be able to re-install the new hook, though I haven't done it myself. Probably someone who did may want chime in and tell us how it's done.

Any hook from another Crown Vic or Grand Marquis should work, I believe.

Thanks! Would be great to know if and how I could get a replacement for the hook.
