Annual Pool Party

Hey folks, just posting up the initial invite for this year's pool party.

I'm planning on holding this year's event in conjunction with the monthly cruise-in hosted by the Foothills Mustang Club of Greenville.

Date will be Saturday, July 14th.

Cruise-in starts around 5:00 pm, so we can all meet up at my place, hang out around the pool, cook up some food and have a couple adult beverages (or otherwise).

Right now I'm a strong maybe. Does not conflict with our monthly breakfast either.

Found out this afternoon that I'm assigned to a three week project up in Naperville, IL, will be heading up that way on Sunday July 8th and won't be home until Friday afternoon July 27th. :(

Will see if I can reschedule the party for August, but will need to see how the work schedule plays out.

Sorry, guys; didn't see this one coming when I originally planned the party.:o

At least Naperville is a nice area...I travel there myself 4 to 6 times a year. Stay at the Hyatt in Lisle....Very nice hotel and pretty active bar at night.

Would love to, but the lodging was selected on the basis of extended stay pricing, and from what I'm hearing it ain't no Hyatt...:(

Oh yeah! My hometown and only an easy 10 minute drive from my house.. :)

Bring some stilts Rex, you will need those if you plan to make eye contact with Naperthrill snobs! I am not kidding.

No problem Rex. Keep us posted on what your work schedule develops into the near future. Being that this heat wave may last a few days,would you know of a local ice vendor to deliver a few tons of ice to drop into your pool for the party? :help: :baaa: :D
 
Haven't given it much thought yet, and there's a possibility I may be headed back out on another field assignment after this one's completed, so I need to wait and see how that all rolls out.

Will keep you posted.
