Hello everyone,

I was just curious if there are any weekly car shows or MM meetings in the area during those 2 weeks?

I am currently stationed in Ingleside but I am driving my MM to Fort Worth for the next 2 weeks and don't want to be just sitting around the hotel. I will be working at JRB Fort Worth so it would be nice if there are things to do close by.

Thanks,
Brian

Check out hotrodhappenings.com Looks like you will miss the big AER show on 5/5. From a former Chief to an active duty one, welcome aboard!

I'm going to meet Brian for breakfast on 28APR07. I'm thinking 0800 at Le Peep in Bedford (more likely to lure in Maury). Anyone else want to go? Wouldn't hurt you Jim to take a break from your busy retirement schedule- I'd like to see the new Hog.

Sounds good to me

Dan, LePeeps sounds good to me--hope others can come. Brian, I'm in Hurst and retired--busy family schedule, but would enjoy hearing from you when you get here--I'm sure we can get together one or more times while you are here--just give me a call ---817-296-3819. Also, the first Chucks Cruise of the year is on the 28th from 5-8PM--we have "Marauder Alley" there---the more the merrier. looking forward to seing you soon, Maury

I might try to make this one. I think they have the best BBQ in town too.

I love their BBQ. If it's the same Pappas BBQ that's located in Houston then it's GOOD! I love the BBQ Potatoes.

Yep, its the same, hope some of you guys can make it out.
I forgot the Pate Swap Meet @ TMS was next week, hope it dosent hurt the turn out at Chucks. We're going friday so Ill be there, most likely sunburnt and tired but Ill be there!

Pappas BBQ....really I much prefer Goode Company... I think this is my first post in two or three years :)

I was just in Dallas and there is a slight chance I will be back up that way this coming week or the next

you missed a good one, close to 90 entries and a crowd of spectators. There wasnt an MM to be found, a few Impala SS's tho. Its a monthly thing, just try to remember the saturday before Chucks.
BBQ was awight for a chain place, bout the same as Bone Daddys without the scenery, Longhorn in Cedar Hill's a lot better IMHO, its a little mom & pop place, real nice people.

Trip update:

The trip was smooth. I took 77 North from Aransas Pass to Waco. The scenery was beautiful especially around La Grange. Once I hit 35 in Waco it was white-knuckle time with construction and traffic. Total driving time was 6 hours to Fort Worth.

Welcome to Tarrant County! See you Saturday!

What are the details of "Chucks" show? I could possibly attend also.

Is everyone getting soaked??? I was only a few blocks of the tornado activity at 2:30 in the SW corner of FW and heard the sirens. I kept praying it wouldn't hail on the MM which is parked outside at the hotel.....
