Anyone do body mounts?

I replaced all of them with Dorman last year. Don't do it. The ones under the passenger compartment went to **** already. I just replaced all mounts except the 2 front core support and the 2 above rear axle, because those are different. I used Energy Suspension. You will need to make or buy spacers and large washers for Energy Suspension to work. Its super solid now but does get some vibration at certain speeds. If you want to go the Energy Suspension route I can give you the recipe.

I have Energy mounts in mine right now and find the ride too harsh so want to go back to rubber. I wasn't planning on using Dorman, I want to order everything from Ford, just need to know which mounts go where. When I did Energy mounts I used same ones for all 14 but apparently the OEM ones are different. I can't figure out what the difference is. Is it just the bolt length?

Right now I've determined that 6W1Z-5400396-B are the 2 mounts up front by the rad support.

Does Ford number them front to back such as this?

From what I recall
1 is a two piece design and aren't interchangeable.

2 are slightly taller than 3, 4, 6, 7 but same diameter where they go thru the frame

3, 4, 6, 7 are the same.

5 is bigger diameter and have an indexing tab and are not interchangeable.

So is the numbering in my photo correct as to what bushing goes where?
1 is at the rad support that doesn't interchange with anything and has aluminum spacer.
2 are the ones at the firewall.
3 is in the center of the car.
4 is near rear control arm mounts
5 is over the rear axle.
6 and 7 are at the rear.

I was just going through some of the frame photos that I have and it looks like bushing with the alignment tab goes into 2 positions. One that's over the axle and one right behind it.

Looks like you're correct about the 4 tabbed locations. I don't have the OEM mounts to reference but the 2 tabbed mounts (6) after the axle are same dia and height as 3, 4, and 7.

Uncertain about the Panther year/gen' of the following (1998-2002 | 2003+) but... For your listening pleasure and reading enjoy....
