Audiophile Head Unit Aux/Bluetooth Adapter

It's been awhile, but I'm finally pulling the trigger on getting and aux/Bluetooth adapter installed for the Audiophile head unit I installed a few years back. Here's a photo of the head unit's face from a previous post from almost three years ago...

Looking through older posts and everything, I found that the previously favored adapters that utilize the factory connectors are all out of production and I can't seem to find them anywhere. I also saw these two adapters referenced a few times, and was thinking of just biting the bullet on the cost:

Has anyone actually used either of these adapters and can verify if either would be compatible with my Audiophile unit?

I decided to just buy the BT45-FORD1 and try it out. Doesn't work with my Audiophile head unit. Neither the AUX button nor the SAT button recognize it. Looked up some troubleshooting and it appears that for that particular item it requires a Ford radio with the "MP3" logo displayed. So, apparently incompatible. However, the BT45-FORD2 might actually work, connected to that other port formerly used by the truck disc changer. Unfortunately it's out of stock all over right now due to the chip shortage. So, I'm going to return the FORD1 back to Crutchfield and get on their list for the FORD2, and then cross my fingers.

I have the same unit & I've been chasing the same thing ... everywhere, out of stock or discontinued. I will let you know if I am successful. Thanks for the info!

Well, the return is underway. They'll be letting me know as soon as they have the BT45-FORD2 back in stock. I'm hoping once I get it that it works great.

Following, strange that the Ford 1 does not work, the Ford 2 says with satellite, you would think since we don't have satellite in our cars it would not work???
