hey guys im getting a beeping noise coming from the guage cluster it sounds like...

its will beep like 3 times then stop, then couple seconds later 3 more times and stops and maybe 30 seconds same thing and just tryed to ignore it into i get some free time to check it out

but now it is just plain getting on my nerves and i always ask here first to see if anybody has had this same problem before

maybe its a burnt out guage cluster bulb maybe  and thats how it lets you know maybe???? any ideas but it most definatly is coming from the guage cluster area no doubt about that one boss....:shake::depress::(

My parts car is making the same strange chime. It's a bit harder for me to track it down since most of the entire dash is out but it started when the disassembly of the interior began.

It is a beep or a chime sound? If it's a chime it could be the seat belt sensor or if you have more than 50 lbs in the front passenger seat it will think a person is sitting there without their seat belt on.

It's a slow paced low sound chime that sounds three times. it's not the seatbelt or the headlight chime because i never heard it before until tearing a car down. It may be airbag related.

Does the airbag light turn on when you turn the ignition on. I'm almost postive I read on CV.net that if the airbag light burns out it will chime if there is a fault. And I think it chimes the code. Is code 33 an airbag code. I don't remember for sure.

you guys are correct i checked and my airbag light was not coming on so took it apart and it was a burnt out airbag light bulbs :D:D

YEPP quarbar was correct i was turning key off and on checking for all the bulbs to light up and was not seeing NO air bag bulb lighting up

so took dash apart took cluster out unhooked it and checked the bulb out and was all burnt up looking

so i put a new bulb in it and put dash all back together and i have not heard the beeping not once so that was a simple fix...:D

IT JUST GOES TO SHOW I DONT CARE HOW LONG YOU GUYS HAVE HAD YOUR MARAUDER SINCE NEW IN 2002, STILL DO NOTT KNOW EVERYTHINGGG ABOUT YOUR CARS JUST YET.

YOU CAN ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW, SOME SAYING NO ITS NOT THE BULB....... AND YES IT MOST CERTAINLY WAS THE BULB BUT THANKS FOR YOUR HELP GUYS........ ANOTHER PROBLEM SOLVED WITH HELP OF MM.NET :D

Well.....I'll be......never heard of that one!!:shake:

Yup was thinking that before I finished reading.

My '91 Mustang has had a blinking air-bag light for around 18 years (ya I'm gonna fix it soon LOL), and when I didn't want it to blink anymore, I took out the cluster and removed the bulb. Well put it all back together, and thats when it started to beep.

It's a safety feature so you are aware there is a problem with the system, even if the bulbs burns out.

Careful, buddy from work had a Ford Ranger doing the same thing, I witnessed him pull off of a curb, and the airbag blew up in his face! Not kidding ya
