Can this bracket be removed?

crouse

I know nothing
Can this bracket be removed? See attached. Not sure what their function is. There are two of them, one on each side of the frame near the front of the car. I'm trying to shave any excess weight.

Hi Dennis, Any other useless brackets etc. that can be removed?

I removed the spare tire, jack & lug nut wrencg and trunk organized and saved almost 85 lbs.

I dremeled the driver's side bracket off of my Marauder to allow a nice spot to place my remote mount oil filter.

The only reason its removed on the water to air is because of the tubing that runs to the RH fendor well

If you are that worried about weight reduction on a 4400 LB four door sedan...just hang a big crap* before you drive and you've already saved a pound each time!

Plus your drive will be much more relaxed.
