I'm looking at putting a twin screw supercharger on my car. I'm looking at a Kennel Bell Mamoth Kit with the 3.4L or the Whipple 3.4L twin. not exactly sure which is more reliable, because I have heared good and bad about both. Or should I go with a centrifigul instead. don't want to go turbo because that is what my 88 mustang is going to have. Any insight for this matter is much appretiated.

Got a Trilogy T.S. on my MM, 2.3 Lysholm, with a stock lower end, you certainly will not need more.

Whipple 3.4 fits better than the Mammoth due to windshield wiper cowl interference. Either one will easily destroy an engine with a stock bottom end.

If you bought a whipple, how does it work with the MM pulley system, hood clearance etc. Is it a straightforward job to hammer one onto the top of the motor?

Won't fit under the stock hood.
Needs some special brackets for the SC belt tensioner and the alternator relocation.
Use a Metco Cobra crank pulley and adapter.
Gotta custom-fab a coolant crossover tube.

Thanks for the reply, what kind of brackets? Do they need to be fabbed or can they be purchased.. Tnx
