Car cutting out under acceleration

After 8 months of storage my fuel pump snuffed. Replaced it and the filter with OEM. Car runs great. Then discovered under hard acceleration in 2nd gear, (Zach tune, CAI, 4:10's, that's it) the car would dip in power. When I finally really pushed it, in a corner, 25mph, rear wheels spinning) the motor cut out completely for around 1/2 second (I let off) then it came back. Best description is it seems to be starving? Premium fuel of course, TC off, no engine lights (codes) have come on. Ideas? PLEASE HELP.
Thanks in advance, Dave

Best way to find a bad COP is an IDS machine.
But no one has that.
Start from a dead stop and punch it.
Somewhere between 75-90mph the pcm will detect the bad coil and flash the check engine light repeatedly.
Check the codes after and boom, you've located it.

I hear ya. Best way to isolate the bad COP? Or change em all? ($$$). I'll have a look at the plugs too doubt they've been changed...50k miles

Thanks again bud

the best method i think is just to replace them all, no point in spending hours trying to isolate 1 or 2 bad cops, plus the others are probably on their way out as well

Mary's car had a similar issue...it would occasionally "sneeze" for lack of a better word. Like someone turned the key off for a fraction of a second then right back on. Lots of time spent troubleshooting and replacing parts. Finally replaced the Autolite plugs (because it was about time) with NGKs and problem gone. The Autolites looked fine...even the gap was still good. That was 18 months ago and it still runs great.
