Car Magazines

Mr. Man

GAME OVER, YOU LOSE!
I was wondering what car magazines you guys get. Paula and I are starting to get into this mod thing and as I have limited knowledge beyond the basics I am up for suggestions on good layman's reading material. I am aware of Hot Rod and Car Craft, Mustangs and other Fast Fords, but what else should I look into. Looking for modding type mags not Road and Track types.

Thanks for the input:)

Ive got problems:

  • MotorTrend
  • Automobile
  • 5.0 Mustang and Fast Fords
  • Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords
  • The Family Handyman

Current subscriptions:

5.0 Mustangs and Fast Fords
Modified Mustangs
Hemmings Muscle Machines
Muscle Car Review

and at times depending on the article, I'll get:

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords
Hot Rod
Car Craft
Chevelle
Ford Performance

I used to get:
Road and Track
Motor Trend
Automobile
Car and Driver
Autoweek
Summit
Latemodel Restoration Supply
Entertainment Weekly

Now I just get:
TV Guide
Consumer Reports

Hemmings Classic Car
Hemmings Muscle Machines
Hemmings Motor News

I really like the first one and will probably let the other two go.

We take Mustang Monthly, and the publication of MCA, Mustang Times.

When my subscription of Car and Driver (BMW/Porsche journal) runs out, it's over for me. When Bill Janes left and the German outfit took over ~ 10 years ago, I stuck with them. Then Yates, now Cabre, Beddard, and I guess, soon John Phillips, jumped ship + the return of that pompous ass, Mr. David E. Davis, they have nothing to offer me ...so..... :burnout:

Automobile
Autoweek
Motor Trend
Car and Driver
Road and Track
Maxim
Esquire (don't ask)
Summit
Wired

Your reading list should include: "Nasty Nissans", "Terrible Titans", and "Fartcans & Wings". You ain't foolin' me. Does Paula know that you are slowly stealin' her MM ?? :P
