Doing some research we found and called a place within the area of the showfield to make it convenient for everyone.
The place is,

Marcellos
900 Cavalry Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013

The reviews are very good and they said they can accomadate large groups. It's also a change of pace rather then the other Italian place we used to go to.

Post up if interested or any other suggestions so we have a idea for a head count.
 
George and I are in for Saturday. Count 2. Looks like he was able to take off work on Sunday, so he'll be able to stay for the whole show. :D

Joanne & I will be on the way home on Saturday night. We leave the show field on Saturday afternoon and head straight home to Bergen County.

I have another car show with the Mustangs on the Sunday. It is the Polish Heritage Festival at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel. I'm not Polish, but boy... can they party at that festival! Smoothies with Polish vodka! And then there is the competitions between church members trying to outdo each other in desserts.
 
We're gonna pass just related to having to drive from Carlisle to the hotel to clean up then back again to Carlisle. I know that folks staying in Carlisle had the opposite issue last time so I'm sure they'll understand. But have a wonderful time!
 
Its a shame that the Carlisle All Ford Parade doesn't use Cavalry Road or we could have some prime seats for pics and such as they pass. Last year's parade video shows the parade exiting at Gate #2 and using Bryn Mawr and Carlisle Springs Road to get to the town. Would be great if they change up the route for this year.

Can't believe that I have passed this little shopping center and restaurant about 32 times over the past 8 years and I can't say that I have ever noticed it.
 
Not attending the dinner Saturday night. I am visiting relatives and participating in the parade. :burnout:

There is an unconfirmed report that YOU are leading the parade this year because your car puts the other Ford Featured cars to shame. ;) Any truth in that rumor ???
 
No go on the dinner...resting out Harrisburg way and will probably grab a shower
and hit that Lancaster Brewery thingy Ms. Denmark mentioned...good on ya for looking
for a new locale...its been a few years for me since being down there but aside from
parking and nobody thinking of a group dinner like us that Italian joint wan't so hot...
