There is usually 3 seperate convoys, one from the Houston area (contact Wes), one from the San Antonio area (contact me) and one from the Dallas area (contact Maury). We usually meet the same places and times every year.

Jim,

You can bring your Bike if you want....all that matters is if you bring yourself....doesnt matter what your driving.

I will try to get away. Moved late July (only 2.4 miles) set to sell the old house this Friday (keeping fingers crossed!) If the dust has settled, I'm in!!
 
Caravan from DFW

Got a PM asking about a convoy to Centerville--OK--here's how we did it last year and it worked great--everybody arrived in Ennis within 15 minutes and we departed right on time and we got to Centerville about 10 minutes before the Houston group. I left Hurst at 0730--proceeded down E Loop 820 to I-20 at 0750--turn South on I-45 at 0820 to arrive at the Whattaburger in Ennis at 0850--depart Ennis about 0915 to arrive in Centerville about 1130. We met all the Western group at Ennis. As the time gets closer, I'll give directions to Whattaberger. O K , Pat, it's time for you to post the radio channels ,etc. Let's make this year a record one--it's been a great trip every year--Maury
 
Just spoke with David Potter last night....said he is going to try to join us. Maury.....he said if he can make it, he will join up with your crew leaving DFW area.
 
I would suggest that if you live in/near the metroplex it would be better to meet up at the Whataburger in Ennis on I-45 at 0845ish rather than trying to meet up before that someplace else (unless you live real close to another member). Also, Im sure some of us will be there early for brekkie if you are so inclined. Anybody hear from Sam?
 
The newbie is in, and bringing the misses. She never goes to any of my car stuff so hope she has fun! Otherwise, I will be flying solo next time.
