CENTRI GUYS? what electric fans are you running?

What are some of the electric fan setups that the centrifical cars are running? (since the oem wont clear the I/C tubing)

im considerng twin 12" flex a lites, or derales

Mine has the stock setup but the electronic controller has been relocated to the drivers side of the fan to clear the pipe.

DID you turn the fan and shroud 180 degrees? That's the procedure for installing Procharger units.

one of the highest CFM fans made are from a first gen Ford Taurus, just be sure to get an independent fan relay. because they draw tons of power on start up.

DR did supply the Vortech kits with a Mustang fan shroud.

Ponyup has my setup from before with the fan I used. I can't remember which one it was but he could probably take a pict and send to you. It fit perfect.

In certain conditions it will not provide enough flow over the rad resulting in the PCM going into overheat mode.

I have had and have both setups and air flow using the Mustang shroud or the inverted stock setup the condition you've stated has never happened. I don't know of any location that is hotter than it get here in south Florida, so unless the MM is in Cuba , Mexico, or the SUN the stock fan or Mustang setup would be OK!

Engine stopped running hot, installed the 170 degree T-Stat and changed anti-freeze mixture to 80% water-20% anti-freeze and a bottle of water wetter.

Tried to put the factory air dam under car but no go with my intercooler mouth.

One of my guys also just installed 2 air dams on either side of the IC mouth but even without this it seems temps are well in spec now.


Ambient temps have been about 115 out here but now cooled down to about 105, where is my jacket?
