Coyote motor in a Marauder

Just curious has anyone considered or know of someone doing this? These new 5.0 motors are amazing from Ford. Is it possible? im sure it is but i guessing a lot of work swapping everything over.

I think it would be cool. I thought about it but the enormous cost involved kept me away. Just not a cost effective mod imho.

The coyote PCM won't control the marauder trans so that is just one of the issues that keeps anyone from trying

There's some company in Florida that's been working on swapping a Coyote into a Vic, but they've been at it for a long time.

The easiest way would be to get a Coyote with pcm, and convert to a manual valve body in the trans.

The Coyote 5.0 also is about as wide as a 5.4 DOHC, so the brake booster and EVAP box have to go. Ford widened the angle between the intake and exhaust cams, thus making the heads even bigger and wider, the 5.0 has the same deck height and bore spacing as a 4.6

Due to many, many complications, BRG Racing recommended avoiding use of a Coyote engine. Instead, I ordered the 4.6L stroker with all forged parts.

In the end, the rwhp will by 500+. This is more than I need.

Yes Frank as far as width it will fit in my Aero.
Height wise i'm not sure.

I do know that it will fit under the stock hood on my Stang.

Get a modified hood. If that were the only blocker, I would have bought a Coyote motor for my Marauder.

drop a coyote in and use the frpp computer control pack for it then run a baumann controller on the stock 4r70...full auto with a coyote motor.

Only good for drag racing IMHO why drive an auto Coyote-powered anything?
