Cruise Control points of failure

The Awesome
I did a search but didn't find anything specific.

Anyone else have an issue with their cruise control failing? Is there a common point of failure?

Mine is not working. I don't use it often so I don't know how long it hasn't been working.

If I recall there is no indicator lamp on the dash or otherwise to show that it is on. Is this right? (I remember thinking that was a real weak design) The service manual's test procedure involves a dash light.

This pisses me off. I also had to replace the compressor for the air suspension a month ago. I couldn't find a loose connection that may have occurred during that procedure, but I can look again if there is a strong case to do so.

You're not alone, mine is out too, and has been for a while. I suspect the control unit under the hood but since I'm not a cruise control person ( gets me into trouble) I haven't bothered with it.

Here too

Strange -- I just noticed mine not working last week also. Will have it looked at next time in. I don't think it has it's own fuse.

This morning I noticed that my adjustable pedals were jammed. Then I opened that fuse when I was messing with it.

Holy crap!! WTF??!?!?!!!
