Picked it up last night after work and just got back from getting the windows tinted. Next is a nicer radio. 2003 Grand Marquis GS. 73,000 miles.

These are all pretty damned nice cars for DD/beater service. Am I the only one here who drives an actual beater?

'95 Subaru Legacy, $400, AWD, and 180,000 hard fought miles. Bought it about 4 years ago, been a good car actually, it's just fugly as hell.

Check out the sweet aftermarket brake cooling duct on the door jam:

Look at these 14" meats:

One thing I enjoy about this car is that it's old enough to use 10w40. I love the look on the parts counter guys face when I have to ask if they have any. :cool4:

'08 F350 Lariat Super Crew, work truck and daily driver. Nothing fancy. When I'm feeling brave I fire up my '86 4Runner. Not very comfortable to drive in the winter, I backed into a light pole and exploded the rear window. Toyotas don't have heaters that can keep up with an open window at -30 C!

2008 Fusion - 3.0L V6

Sport handling package / 18" rims.

Been a fantastic car!

Mike.
Wow I have a mint 04 DTR in the garage and my DD is a silver 08 fusion w handling pkg and 18' wheels and same interior You're right been a great car not one problem

Today it only got to 55 degrees here. That's like, ICE AGE weather. I had to turn on my heater this weekend. Barbaric...

My daily driver is a 2012 Nissan Versa. No power seats, locks, or windows. Dumping a lot of miles on it and didn't need to spend money on gizmos.

Other than that, still got the Crown Vic http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=82282 The carb started to crap out on my so its still at the shop. The mechanic sure seems to having trouble getting it working right.

If the vic's got a Variable venturi on it / there is a Holly replacement for it ,direct bolt on.

2004 GMC Sierra Crew Z71. 170k miles and still going strong.

Not really a winter/DD, it is just a truck for the family. I use it in rain, or when I am working in dirt/mud. It gets washed when it rains and a couple of times a year. Once a year it is waxed, just before little league opening day as it a float puller.

Please....will someone tell me what "Winter" is??;)

This is winter where I live. My dad went south last week to Montana to pick up his new Studebaker, told me the most scared he's ever been in his life was when his '04 GMC with a 28' car hauler went sideways on some black ice on this same highway.

Gonna get some flack for this one............ oh well. Is what it is. My daily, washed every night when its in the salt. :)

This is my new Daily/Winter beater. 1988 Buick Century 2.8 v6 with 88K miles. Old lady owned it since new, she got old and wedged it between two garages and I bought it! Just glad I get to park the Marauder in the Winter.

This here is my other part-time job ride. Chevy Equinox all black LED's hidden on it all over the place. Lights up like a Xmas tree. Got a 3.4 v6 AWD and a custom console and cage.
