Dash squeak???

I got one to only at certain bumps , think it may be the guage and lighter piece rubbing the dash

it was an unlisted factory option.

Good rubbers ?
My g body's have a rubber knob support at where the hood shuts next to the windshield
Try putting some grease on the bumper stops, that noise might be from the hood rattling

I'll try that,
but I think it's coming from under or behind the dash.

Best I can figure, it's coming from the trim pieces on the front on the front of the dash. I have it too, but only going over a bump.

I have a noise that comes from the vent to the right of the radio. Move the vent and it goes away for awhile. There might be a TSB for the noise I have.

Pull the center trim pieces off and there should be little rubber caps on some of the supports.

Is there a rubber gasket around the center gauge pod?

Is the glove box tight when latched?

Thanks but it only squeaks when the car is moving.

Mine comes from the drivers side edge of the dash .when the drivers door is closed it rubs against the dash edge and squeaks . It is much worse in cold weather. I noticed it the first day I owned my car. The solution is io put some material between the two pieces of vinyl presto squeak gone

I get a squeak from the dashboard when its really cold out but goes away when it heats up with the heater on .

Today my Honda Mech fixed the vibration/rattling noise from the P/S front door. Was three different things, two pieces of plastic material from a small plastic mount that had broken and a loose nut plate.

I have the infamous hood squeak from time to time, an little adjustment on the hood stops and a dab of grease.

Mine Doesnt squeak when its raining out , but sounds like its in the dash
might be the Hood
