door hinge pins repair kit?

I've never used that kit, or done it on a Ford, but I replaced all four doors on my son's s10 Blazer using a similar kit. The kit I used included 2 new bushings, a new pin and a clip for each door.

All in all, pretty easy to do. Definitely need a helper to align door for drivning the pin into the new bushings. Also, roll the window down and use a bungee cord (padded to protect paint) to hold the door in about the right spot when removing pin. We used the overheard garage door tracks for this.

I've only replaced the lower and it is a piece of cake. The upper is another story.
 
yea 65 bucks seems high for one door, but where can i find the correct door hinge pins that are strong and thats gonna last i dont want to ever do these again and i forsure dont want to remove the dash, im gonna try my ford dealer and see if i can get just the door hinge pins and bushing and rollors.
 
Ford does not sell bushings and pins. Like the other member mentioned they are available on ebay. I just replaced the lower hinge on my driver door and it fixed the problem. I supported the door with a floor jack with a piece of wood on top of it. Had a friend support the door while I unbolted the lower hinge. I had to jack up the door a little to get the hinge out. I then bolted the hinge to the hinge pillar and let the jack down and the bolted the door. A little adjustment and it's like new.
 
That tool may be needed for flimsy late model GM hinges they mention 99 up C/K trucks..

I have never heard of the pins breaking on a Panther hinge, same design used since 1982 on Town Cars and 1979 on Grand Marquis/Crown Victoria

Even unbolting the hinges on different cars makes a BIG PIA. The alignment bolts are a PIA to bolt back into they flop about and you just signed up for hours of fiddling the door to get it right again been there on my old Chevy Laguna GRRRRR
