Door sills

Guess what arrived by USPS today? Was waiting for me when I got home late from work. Too dark to install right now ... will wait until the weekend to do it right.

Just had to see what they looked like in position. Pardon my "helper's" hand in the pic .... she had to hold the lower one in place 'cause it wanted to slide off the sill. They look great. Thanks, Jim !!! :D

You can also see my Redline Floormats with blue lettering, too. Floor is a little dirty since we haven't seen the sun since 13 September. That'll be fixed this weekend too. :o

The sills are $235.00, shifter surround is $70.00, shipping is included.

Customizing is extra.

Had the driver's side sill plate pop off this morning. I caught my left foot on the sill with "MARAUDER" on it and it popped right off. Have only been on there for 3.5 months. I followed the directions to the letter. Removed and scrubbed the sills .... twice. Rinsed thoroughly. Wiped them down with alcohol .... twice. Let them dry overnight. Then used the 3M doubled sided taped and pressed them into place.

Any other hints or suggestions on this?

Lift your foot a little higher ain't an option.

I've had mine on for at least 3 or 4 years. Have never had one come loose.

Try Epoxy. Works like a charm.

Charlie these are known to commonly pop off!

Happened to me a few times!

Nate is right about the epoxy (5min.)

That's what we both use and have much better results!

Make sure the sill covers (plastic) are warm, like room temperature, when installing.
