Had a simular problem with my 1996 CV the bolts actually pulled through Now "bear" in mind I am a LARGE type person.6'5" 433 # so get it lokked at soon and often if ness. It looked like a long-time process, starting with distortion of the floor board and then radiating cracks leading to failure--he fix was a "boiler plate" patch at all four points. The failure occured at 101,000, but had started much earlier--I am 6'2" and 250 #. Take a GOOD look at the underfloor mounts--mine only had 2" washers welded to the floor boards
I also had the problem with the front flaps on both seats snapping off. The dealer added extra foam material to the front of the seats. The stuffing made the front of the seat fatter. This solved the problem by removing any slack in the front seat flap.chapel1 said:REDDOG69 I'm 6'1" and 270lbs and the front flap on my drivers seat keeps snapping off the seat frame. It must curl around a metal bar and snap on some how ,but I can't figure how?Doe's this happen to anyone else?
