It happens in every forum, people fight. Marauder owners are not inmune to it. It already has started at MCM to a lesser degree than here, once the feeling of solidarity has passed and the "us vs them" mentality wears off. It will get worse.

Everything ugly and bad that has occured here will happen at MCM given enough time and expanding new members; that do not know about the past nor care.

This is not a flippant remark on my part nor a wish or desire that my prediction should come true, simply stating what I believe to be inevitable.:shake:

You are right Javier:depress:. It is a shame that it is this way but it does occur in "every car forum". But the us vs them mentality is with a really only with a select few. Others tag along and play the game, some just suck up to be part of the "in-crowd" and others are viewed as "spys." Some even get threatened, all for what? Most really just don't care about all this BS.

I have met many people here and there, many I consider good friends, others who I have posted with are just Marauder lovers who are civil and mature. Overall, it is really too bad. But there is nothing anybody can do about it.:dunno:

I had the same thing going on with a real time real life group at the same thine as the Marauder Schishm was ocurring. It was really eerie. I agree with Smokie wholeheartedly.

And yes, I too noticed how times have changed.

I know I'm still new but, lets be grown up about it. We can make amends and start all over, IF every party is willing.

I want my first meet to be with everyone.
 
Some of this BS goes back years...I agree, meet everyone and ignor all the prior problems. There are some great people here and over at mcm even if they have problems here.

I beg to differ.
While I don't care for the us vs them references.
The agenda's are clearly different between the sites.
No one can truly/accurately predict trends and level(s) of solidarity, as long as the same peoples are running things.

I read posts and corresponded with Mark a while ago, he was very disappointed in the decisions he had made, regarding who he chose to modify his Marauder.
He was only telling his feelings through PM's.
I know others that read and don't post up any more and many others that simply left the sandbox.
The feeling that he could not speak his mind, probably pushed him to this point.
