Fender Badges Redux?

Hello folks.

I have received numerous inquiries as to whether I would produce and offer fender badges once again.

I am starting this thread to gauge interest in the badges. Once I order them, they will beready for shipping in about 4 - 6 weeks.

They willl be sold on a first come, first served basis.

The badges look like this:

As in the past, the badges will not have adhesive on them and you are on you're own for that. I highly recommend using 3M auto body molding tape.

The badges will be 80 bucks a set (which includes shipping in the 51 US States).

If you are interested in purchasing one or more sets, please indicate your interest in this thread (also indicate how many sets you want). Please understand that this does not constitute an order, but I will be relying on this thread when I consider producing them.

I do not want to order and pay for badges that I don't need because I am broke and I need all of my money I have left to get into the 9's with my MM since no one has seemed to be able to do it during my absence! :P

Thanks for helping me make history with my run to the 9's and with an eye toward having my driver Jeff (Shankin) take home the big dog trophy!!! :banana2:

**** Oh yeah, despite rumors to the contrary, this is not a democracy. So these badges are not available for sale to Dom or anyone that intends to resell them to Dom or on e-bay. If I wanted them sold on e-bay, I would go ahead and list them myself for 150 plus bucks like they have sold for on e-bay in the past. :flamer: ****

Can someone enlighten me as to what the meaning of the racing flags is on a Marauder badge? I always see these badges and there must be some history to them that I don't "get"

Steve

Count me in for one set....I will clear coat mine asap when I get em and recommend everyone to do the same.

Here is an original Marauder badge:

Here's a variation on my '65 below.

Marty: (short hijack)I went out to see Derrick yesterday. I enjoyed meeting him and he also has one heck of a set-up. It was like Toys R Us for adults.
He is coming over to my house in the next few days to see the '65 MM. It'll be great to get the Ol Girl respectable again. Thanks for the intro.

Marty, how funny it is you start this thread today, I bought 2 sets from you months ago, finally TODAY put one set on the car, looks great. To anyone who doesn't have at least one set, they are very well worth the dough.
