I figured it would, the speculators must have realized they were about to be investigated. All the talk of opening up off shore drilling and drilling on "sensitive" land scared big oil and OPEC. Once (insert politician of choice here) is bought off by them and we get nowhere with all this talk of becoming 'energy independant', the price will go up, and in a few years we will go thru this again. OPEC actually DID slow production by hundreds of thousands of barrels a day recently, yet the price keeps dropping. Fishy, yes no?
 
They met last week to cut production by MILLIONS of barrels a day....and as for it being fishy?????? >>>>>>> :fish::fish::fish::fish::fish::fish::fish::fish::fish::fish: VERY.
 
This whole oil thing is a re-run of the 70's FAKE oil shortage...politics are so stinking stupid. And those suckers have tons of money for gas!

My local station tried to sell my 93 for $2.99, a mere 20 miles away it was $2.12.

The drops are not surprising.
