If you cancel your Ford extended warranty who pays the refund. The dealer or Ford?

Been there done that when I sold my 2001 Mountaineer.

Anybody know the procedure for canceling a Ford ESP?
Also anyone that purchased a Ford ESP warranty can you tell me what kind of paperwork (contract) you got?

Bradley G said:Steve, you will not recieve any money by canceling your warranty.
Ford will deduct your finance obligation from the payments.
ShelbyMotorspts said:I sure hope there is another way besides the selling dealer. If this dealer wont send me all the paperwork and wont correct the deductible mistake I really don't think they are going to be too eager to cut me a $2000 check.
What makes this headache even worse is that I purchased the car from the used car manager to avoid problems like this. Whenever I try to get someone else at the dealership, like the F&I person, to fix his mistakes I keep getting the same reply of "you need to contact the used car sales manager".
I just want what I paid for.... :mad2:

Good to know.Bradley G said:You will not recieve any money if the warranty is in the financing.
The money comes off the payments.
If your payments are 500, and the warranty refund is 2000, you will have four fewer payments.
