Front control arms!

Tommy,
I'm just out of spec on the negative camber w/the adjustment maxed out. My quess is about 2 degrees - 3 at the most. That would be making the upper arm adjustable from stock to longer dimension.

How dropped is your car? It looks like 3.....feet. :P LOL!

I just changed the front + rear shocks. Took out the QA-1's and put in KYB's. The front is dropped 2+" plus the drop from running the 27" dia. tires. I can't fit the low profile floor jack under the front bumper/front crossmember anymore!
If there is time for an alignment on Saturday I can see where the #'s are.

Just wondering if there was any update in the development of these?

Its funny we were just talking about this yesterday. Its not looking cost effective when all is said and done. Tommy will update with more detailed info. I believe bushings and another front end item are in the works.

Definitely keep us posted. Getting ready to do a major suspension overhaul and may be interested any new goodies that they may have.

Unfortunately the arms themselves aren't going to happen. To make a tubular lower will cost about $500.00 each so that's out the window and unfortunately with places online whoring out Chinese made uppers online that's not cost effective either. Chuck hasn't given up hope though, that's why he's THE MAN! He's working on a bushing for the rear part of the arm that will allow for greater caster/camber adjustment and ofcourse it will feature his custom application made bushings and most likely the Delrin sleeve. I'll keep you guys posted.

See if Chuck can made these bushings for the upper control arms because they are the ones that use the adjustments.

BTW, I have a pair of stamped steel lower control arms from a CVPI that came in for ball joint issues.

^^^ Not bad.... He should have added in the Moog endlinks and ES bushins for one stop shopping.

Nice combination Tommy!

Can't wait! I can envision the off/on ramps getting a work out around here! Just need to have a handful of business cards from Defyant laying around in the car when The Man pulls me over! Not that I break any driving laws...or anything like that.:burnout:
