getting hold of Companies for Tunes..

hey today i called Mo,s speed shop and Alternative Performance ,and i wanted to tell them wht i want to put on parts and mod,s , i like to do to my 2003 MM , and get a hand held Tunner and Tune,s to go along with my MODS..

Both companies seem hard to get to answer the phone.. wht would you do?? would you try reaching these companies by sending them E-mail or certain time to call them ,, i real like a company that i can talk to on the phone , not through e-mails of wht i want ... is there better companies out there to work with then the 2 i called?? ,to get a hand held tuner and tunes to go along with my MODS???

any advice ?? thanks
 
It is President's Day so some places might be closed. Both places are the best places to get tunes from. Just try again tomorrow.

IMHO give it a chance. These are busy shops who don't necessarily have a guy sitting around answering questions. They have both called me back every time.... I would give the edge to mo's as far as customer communication from my experience :2thumbs:
 
MO's is closed Mondays...
Send him a pm here, he will give you his phone number that is not the shop as Marty has more than one job than being shop owner.

They do all my work. Yes, closed on Mondays and best way to get Marty is to shoot PM. He will get you taken care of.

We are closed almost all Mondays because we work Tuesday through Saturday. In any event we deal with customer inquiries 7 days a week - we just don't know if you are calling the shop on Sundays and Mondays. :D

Mo's Speed Shop is closed on Monday. They work Tuesday through Saturday.

Sadly, I know this as fact.
Once you call/speak to Marty, get his email address, it's like your personal Marauder building and planning consulant - send an email, the response is under a day every time.

I have always been able to contact MO's. On there open days or by e-mail and has returned text or e-mail even on closed days. They are the best.:):banana2:
 
Marty at Mo's is extremely available. You just need that first contact. I've been given way more time and tunes and general support than I would have expected given what I paid.

Just so everyone knows the rest of the story and does not think that my shop does not respond to folks.

I posted and messaged my personal number to him and then he PM'd me to let me know it would be a few weeks before he was ready to proceed.

The problem here is that if shops like Lidio's and mine are not open and available to answer questions for fellows who are not even ready to spend a dime, that same person will make it seem like we aren't responsive. Nothing could be further from the truth. I know how my shop works hard and I know how Lidio's shop does as well, so I would ask folks not to post stuff like the above post when it is simply not accurate.

And, so that folks know, I appreciate all of the positive feedback posted in this thread. Truly, I do.
 
Interesting. The "today I called and haven't heard back..." post certainly conveyed a different sense of urgency. I can understand we all want answers right away, but one should always be mindful of the golden rule.
