Glued bumper back on

Anyone with a Lincoln MKS or Taurus knows how cheap Ford put these vehicles together. The front bumper on both sides of my car were falling off. I manually peeled back the fender and cleaned off all the areas I could with rubbing alcohol then I used a small epoxy glue. I purchased at Harbor freight for one side of the car at a time.
Using a small paintbrush, I put glue in all the places that I thought would connect with the bumper and held it there for a few minutes till it’s set. I repeated the same process on the other side and added a couple pieces of blue tape just for safety, I checked the bumper later that night . It’s never coming off again unless there’s an accident.

Then I stripped the rust off the roof in 2 areas with a wire wheel on my drill.
I marked off an area with Blue Painters tape. I took off the Rust by stripping to bear metal.
When done, I masked off the area again by overlapping the tape,.
Harbor Freight had Spray on grey primer and clear coat for $8.99 ea Purchased UH code paint on Amazon for $17
Primer dried and looks good. They say to sand the primer with 80 grit paper, before painting. That's to follow.

80??? oh hell no
last should be 600 and that’s after, stripping it all the way down to bar metal, using a metal conditioner wash, multiple coats of primer, Block sanding, and then painting.
 
We aren’t talking huge areas on the roof.
The car’s paint condition is not very good after 14 years outside.
Ford did a poor job of painting as the right fender and trunk lid would need repainting. I just removed the rust before it spread and ate the metal.
It’s not going to be professional looking, but it will look good enough that it won’t be noticeable

Wouldn’t multiple layers of paint be better than multiple layers of primer?

The primer dried fast. So I did spray more than 1 coat - but I didn’t sand in between. I’m sanding next
