Bad thing about it is that some r mechanics that is why I got concerned.

All I can do is second what everyone else is saying...your new motor should be AT LEAST as good as the original (well, YOU know what I mean), and will probably be better...DON'T sell the car...unless your dealer's wrenches are complete morons, the job should come out fine...if it's not to your satisfaction, stay on them until it is...others on the board have had their motors replaced and came away happy...I think merc was one...

Dealer by any chance do u know if they made some improvements on the original motor?

I guess it's time for my $0.02.
It's a new motor from the same folks who made the old motor. Your chances of having a bad one are about the same as they were before. The good news is you got 7,000 miles free.
If there are installation problems the odds are really good that you will find them after only a short while.
If something is wrong because someone forgot a wire or a hose pops off etc. this is no big thing. It won't effect the long term performance of the engine as long as you are carefull & don't overheat it or the like.
If you were dumping in a rebuilt then I would say you were taking your chances. I've had good luck and bad with that. Up to me I'd take a relatively low mile proven part (if I could test it) over a rebuild any day. This of course assumes it's not a performance rebuild and you are going for stock.
Well maybe that was more like $0.05?
Everything should work out fine.

PS: Is that spell checker working? Does it always take a long time to load? Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Is the spell checker new? used? Rebuilt? Stage 1? What oil should I use?
