Hershey Meet 10/17--10/19. Home ok?

Can you say Pandora's Box?

Did not mean to rub salt in your wounds. Hope you got the problem fixed. Was going to tell you at Miller's before we left, but did not see you. Chris and I did not stay for dinner. It was good meeting you and good luck.

Thanks... please do note the smiley at the end of the Pandora's box comment, and by the way there's no reason why I should have taken your comments as rubbing salt in the wounds...

Yes, thankfully there has been a resolution, interestingly enough. More info within the respective thread.

No biggie about not being able to tell me on Saturday, the important thing is that I found out before someone had a chance to park their front grille in my backseat, and I got to deal with it accordingly.

TTA: Yes I did notice the :) after Pandora's box. As to the salt in the wound comment I was trying to be light hearted. As has been stated before on this or another thread is that we don't always know the tone or the mood of the words that someone else is trying to convey!!:) :) I would like to count you as one of my new friends, I just regret that we did not talk more. From your posts that I have read it seems like I could learn a lot from you.:bows: Hope to met again and talk some more.

Likewise, Haggis, I didn't get much of an opportunity to get to know you either, it was tough to devote the necessary amount of time to get to know everyone when one has a kid to tow around. I see you were in the same situation as well! :)

I completely understood the salt in the wound comment, I was just hoping you didn't think I had taken it the wrong way. I've seen what misunderstandings can do to friendships, I didn't want to risk a re-occurrence. Funny about how different backgrounds (geographical and cultural) make it so that it takes 6 posts in a thread to basically say:  all is good! :)

Interesting thought crept into my mind on reading your 'friend' comment... you know, it really is just a car, this thing called a Marauder. What makes the site what it is, is the special people that participate on it. Truly something to be proud of, and nurtured...

It is not just a car anymore, it is something that is bringing people together. It is something that we have in common. It bridges borders, language, race, religion and politics. It is the Marauder. I don't know just go with the flow :D :coolman:

Alls cool!!:coolman:

I draw the line at singing Kumbaya around the campfire, y'all just gonna have to find another theme song. Something from the Bay City Roller perhaps?

What a great time

Well, I had a super time. I really regret not being able to make the Ennis meet after getting to know all of you. It was just about the best time I had this entire year. Good food, good fun, good friends.....and a line-up of future collectible cars. Oh yeah, and chocolate literally in the air!
I won't post my speeds because I don't want to risk Mac throwing the 'cuffs on me next time we meet  , but safe to say I think my record is likely to stand for a while unless it ends up in the same category as air-flight...he he

We need to do this again, soon. I was totaly stoked from this!!
Thanks to all for a great time.....
Jerry

Mark - That sounds good. Keep us posted. Thanks:)

My new G-5 dual processor Macintosh is in and I have the equipment to do my video editing. I started with a small quick time movie of the gang departing form the car wash on Saturday morning. I am working on the un-edited full version of the event. Currently the total size is 5.9 gigs. I have placed a sample in the photo library for everyone to reminisce.

Forgot to mention, if anyone wants to contribute material for a CD's worth of photos, you can PM me in order to send me the raw full size photos on CD, which I will then resize and compile into one CD and send out to anyone who wants it.

Alright...who was the "fish-tail" leaving the car wash?

If you liked it, it was mine. :D If you didn't like it, well, it was still mine!! That was Mary in the lead driving Patches!
