trans line - when they burst the car smokes like crazy when that stuff hits the exhaust - at least now the car is coated underneath with a winter protection :rolleyes:

Just arrived at home about 1:00. Had a great time seeing the usual suspects and meeting new suspects.

Too bad it's over.

But millions depend on me working to keep them comfortably not working. So off to live the dream tomorrow morning.

uneventful trip home except for jam-up on the interstate....cars unloaded....bags unpacked....load of laundry going.....ice cold bud light waiting for me along with a comfy couch......want to thank john (pops) and his wife linda and helpers for the work they did preparing for this....hope to go back when the trees start changing color.....have seen video of dooms famous burnouts but finally got to witness one....cough-cough-hack-hack....my wife asked how often does he buy tires......thanks for re-newing old friendships and making new ones...safe trips for all...see you on the highway....
 
home again

Made it 168 miles to my driveway .Took me about 4.5 hours cause of slo traffic in the Chicago loop area.
Awesome time!:cool4:
 
Made it to Louisville, our planned stopover point for the evening. Just chillin' and already starting to miss everyone.... :(------> :bigcry:
 
Home at 4:20pm, ProRauder unloaded and tucked away in the garage for routine maintenance tomorrow.

And my kitteh's are happy to see me!!
 
Brad and I tried to run Prorauder off the road in IN, he was driving so slow he was blocking traffic! :-). Well the old man (me) is sitting at home and playing with the GN to get it on the road, *^$#^&*%$&* One Bad Merc has already been to two (2) foot ball games and has one to go, then he will be home. Gotta study up on the best tire compounds to beat Doom next year, think we were close! LOL

I'm home...

Home at 1pm. Made awesome time. Smooth sailing other than a 5 minute traffic back up delay at 94/290 in Chi-town.

Had some things needing immediate attention when arriving so just getting to posting now. :)
