Home Safely!

Been Home a couple of hours now. 155 miles in 2 hours 15 minutes. A beautiful sight - 15 Marauders convoying out of Madison Heights; with 11 crossing the border into Ohio, before seven of us peeled off leaving ZIPMM leading three others southbound on I-75, while we headed to the Ohio turnpike and points east. FastMerc and I got off on Rt 58 within 3 miles of my home. A great ride to top off a great Marauderville III. Great job to all involved. We appreciate all of the work that you guys put into this event.

Glad you made it home safe and sound :2thumbs:

Thanks for the kudos. The whole MCM crew worked hard to make sure it was fun for everyone! Its very rewarding when we hear that folks had a good time!

I made it home as well, as Matt,Mark, Mike, and Pantheroc peeled off at their respective exits.

I waved bye to Defyant and two others that I didn't catch where they were going.

Back to reality.

Made It Home Safely

We made it home safely and hope that everyone else will also. It sure was neat leaving with 15 Marauders in a line and watch as they gradually peeled off. There were 3 of us left when I peeled off on Route 15 and the other 2 continued on down I-75.
I want to thank the Motor City Marauders for all of their hard work, and putting on such a great event. So each of you take a well deserved break.
Nellie and I really enjoyed ourselves.
Thanks Again

Glad everyone has made it home safe and sound. When I did get home I promptly took a 3 hr nap. Don't know why but it felt good.

Same here. Took a two hour nap before dinner, then fell asleep about eight, finally woke up about six this morning. Feeling much better, Thank You.

We left in the convoy around 12pm and got home at 10pm. Aside from a minor slow down on RT70 in Md, we had a smooth trip. We had to make a few stops for the kids, but it was all good.

We had a great time.

GREAT JOB MVlll

Thank you all that put on a GREAT meet. We got home Monday around 3 pm.
The GPS said we had an overall average speed of 61.4 mph and a moving speed of 65.2. Total travel time 13 hours with 45 minutes of stop time and 832 miles.
Just before Buffalo, NY traveling about 75 mph, a pick up truck in front of us had 3 plastic chairs lift up and fly out in front of us. The Marauder perfomed flawlessly in it's evasive maneuvers. We ended up to the right of the rumble strip to miss the chairs and avoided getting hit from the rear by the other cars trying to stay out of trouble. That was exciting, but not as exciting as MVlll.
GREAT JOB EVERYONE !!!
