Room booked for four nights. I plan to do it all. This may be the best Marauderville ever. Now what about reserving parking?

Lowell, we are working hard to make it worthy of that...and more!

Registration will tentatively begin in May.

Add another Twin Cities Marauder to the convoy :) Just booked Tuesday through Sunday online.

I even got a little better rate with AAA :party:

I can't wait to see everyone this year and make a few runs down the drag strip too!

Hotel Room Update

Just a quick note from my earlier post....

The bottom line is this, we have 40 more rooms available in our block, first come first served. Our hold on rooms expires on April 28, 2005, after that, you are out of luck. You all know that this is going to be an awesome Marauderville, don't get stuck sleeping in your Marauder in the parking lot. Get your room now.
 
Ok, I've reserved rooms at the hotel, but it is still VERY uncertain weather we will be able to show up or not. But hey, best to be perparred.

That is the best course of action. Get the room now...if you cancell, so be it. I would ask that if you wont need your room, put up something here, cause very shortly, you wont be able to find a room near the cruise. period. Maybe someone here would take your room. Just a thought.
 
Just checked the site, Hotel is unavailable

Just checked the Hilton Hotels website, it is running the host hotel, Hampton Inn and Suites in Madison MI as unavailable. Couldn't count on being able to attend until about a week ago. Need two racks. Any ideas? Thanks, -kjs-

I just checked the website, says its temp closed. Call the following number to register. Sorry about that.

Each individual guest must make their own reservation with the Host Hotel. You must identify yourself as a member of the group when making reservations, the group name is MOTOR CITY MARAUDERS .

Reservations can be made by calling (248) 585-8881, or 1-800-HAMPTON, group/convention code # CCE. They have a 72 hour cancellation policy.

Thanks y'all, will call the hotel directly, when accessing the hotel info by the parent company website, Hilton.com, it comes up as no rooms available.

It costs nothing to make a reservation. You can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours before the booked date...no charge.
If you are even THINKING of going ...MAKE A RESERVATION TODAY !!!!!
 
Got My Act Together

Finally got my act together and booked for Aug 19 + 20. This my 3rd Dream Cruise and the 1st with mr_auder. Looking forward to a great weekend. :banana: :beer: Kudos to all organizers; this looks 2 be a great time. :bows: :thanks:
 
Got through on the phone line!

Made my reservations today, got a room with two racks, great accomplishment!
My brother can't make it but 4th Horseman is going to be taking the wheel for a good portion of the journey, thanks 4th!

Will go from San Diego to Salt Lake City to meet my co-pilot and drop him off on the way back. 4th and I hope to meet up with last year's convoy of Mr. & Mrs. Teamrope, Mr. & Mrs. Hwy Cruiser, Cruzer, Buckwheat & Son, and whoever else can join us.

The ride was almost as much fun as the event last year. MV II itself was a blast.

MI2, if you want to start a convoy thread I'll be happy to post a proposed route for the west coast and southwest participants.

We'll even tolerate MM net plates on a Caddy for the sake of the convoy, LOL! Sorry to derail the thread, but this info needs to get out.

Folks, people must be getting excited about MVIII cause the hotel has 50 confirmed reservations for us so far! That is great news, but the bad news is that we don't have many left in the block, so don't wait. You have either till June 1st, or till they are sold out, I think they will be sold out before the deadline. Don't miss out...I promise you won't find another hotel nearby that isn't booked up by that point.

Thats what they told us last night ..Yeah Boyeeeee It's gonna be a great time in Detroit..Booked our room last night !! we are really hoping to make it..:up:
