Houston lunch meet - Jan. 7th

AstroVic

Walking on the Milky Way
Hey guys,

Next Sunday, January 7th, sometime between 11am and 1pm, a few of us are going to be meeting for lunch at Taco Cabana. Me, WChain (Wes from Innovative Interceptors), JohnE, The_Big_Stu, and swiftsloth all plan to be there.

Everyone is welcome to attend. I'm also going to invite the Crown Vic guys.

We don't have any special reason for meeting. Just a little get together for some good food and good bullsh!tting.

The restaurant is located at:

5540 Richmond Drive (at Chimney Rock)
Houston, Texas 77056
(713) 780-4871

The location is subject to change if we get more attendees or someone chooses something better. I picked that location because it's located fairly centrally and it's in a nice part of town (near the Galleria).

Please post a response here if you plan to attend or have other ideas.

I am up in the air on this one, only because its my B-day on Sunday and Lisa is throwing me a BBQ party on Saturday Night for me and another friend of ours whos B-day is also on Sunday. If I am not dog tired I will make the 3 hour tour (insert theme song here) to Houston.

That's why I like  the Richmond Arms. Wireless internet, so I can work on  closing out  paperwork and still  bill for my  time.

Richmond Arms? Is that the gun shop a little further west on Richmond?

We could meet there, but what would we eat? ;)

Fountainview is just one intersection west of Chimney Rock.

Why don't we still meet up at Taco Cabana for lunch and then those of us who want to share a cold beer can head over to the pub afterwards?

Ok, just as long as I don't actually have to eat there

Hahahahha...not your favorite place, eh?

That's okay. We picked it because it was relatively cheap and most folks seem to like Taco Cabana. Plus, you could always stop somewhere else and get takeout and then bring it in to the Taco Cabana and eat with us. I'm sure they won't say anything, and if they do I'll have Wes break an arm or two.

So, I take it you're coming?

:burnout:

How about Hooters at Westheimer and Gessner?
BIG parking Lot, and more central. Plenty of room for Todd and Fernando to do burnouts and turn his strobes on after lunch.
If the food is lousy, at least the scenery is nice.

Mad4Macs I'll be in Aggieland Saturday.

Wes, you're such a punk! I might do some burnouts all right, but they won't be in MY Marauder! (I know an Aggie with a nice DTR one I can use for the burnouts!)

The Hooters sounds good to me, too. Wes, post a map for everyone.

Do we have a vote? Hooters or Taco Cabana?

If the weather even looks like rain, she won't be there. I drove my MM a little over 2500 miles last year.

Ditto on the rain. I've got business in Houston, but I ain't gonna budge if this weather keeps dumping on me.

The weather has cleared up down here, so hopefully it will be another perfect day in Houston tomorrow (just like it was today).

I look forward to seeing y'all....even you, Wes. :)

Thanks, I'm glad you and Fernando are working things out and riding together.
