Sorry, I didn't think we went out that far yet. So did the previous owners treat the car special so you'd have a legacy?
heh, it was with the first owner for the most amount of time till around 12k I think then was sold then the last owner had to sell it as he needed the money to move into a bigger house for his growing family, at least that's what they told me.at the father son dealership in Penn.
Also the car is on its 4th owner legally, as its in my dads name to save me the high insurance rate, although I did pay for most of it, and pay for upkeep and gas, so as soon as I'm 25 the car'll be signed over legally even though I'm the ONLY one who drives it, and hopefully by then I can retire it from DD life.
It may have changed hands a few times, it only had 27K on it when I bought it last year, and I have put on 6k since then, and all the great stuff still came with the car. Including the jacketed manual, the door pad code card, the mercury guarantee card with the original owner's name on it, the original window stick a portfolio half filled with articles on the marauder, the big advertising poster, a clock like on ebay and one of the novelty parking signs that say MM parking, all others towed.
And I can happily say I've build an even greater pile of swag, among the top items are the key chain Mercury gave away, an issue of the dealer magazine Front line introducing the MM, the original mini-cd with the MM screensaver, the dealer VHS that showed the sales people how to sell the MM, many more articles on the MM, and other stuff that I can't remember at the moment. I can say if I ever have to sell my baby, the guy who get's her will get a gold mine of swag, although I will offer to sell any of the rare swag here first.
PS I wish I knew that polls could be changed without closing them, I would have waited to vote instead of just voing 3rd owner.
