I have searched, but all I see is people taking about the can from ford which is not available anymore, my 04 interior is dark charcoal, paint code kw, but napa says kw is a blue color?? Does anyone have the correct napa code to make me a can, or is there another good quality spray I can get somewhere that will match good? Thanks..

Go to Napa and buy a couple of cans of different grey paint and test them out. Some batches of the Ford paint didnt match up either -so we ended up looking for colors that are close.

I actually ended up using a Grey primer to paint my gauge pod and it matched the color perfectly-but different batches of paint can be different so you need to get a couple of small cans and test them out.

guage pod, and i was actually just at autozone, and i was going to buy the grey primer lmao!! i just wasnt sure if it was a good idea to use primer.. did it hold up well??

It looks great going on two years now! I was thinking the same thing about using a primer but it has worked out really well. I test sprayed it on the back of the panel first and let it dry and it matched perfectly. It seems to me to have the right sheen (not super dull) so I went with it.
