HELLOOOOOO OUT THERE !!!!!!!!!

Where is everybody ???? The 2008 good weather season is here and everybody needs to know who is interested in doing what in the next 7 months. It has been a long time since we have had a roll call on the forum--LET'S DO ONE NOW
There are a lot of new Marauder owners out there that us "oldies " have never met and there are a lot of oldies that have been silent for too long----let's all check in and get some fun things going.
Everyone who is interested in any kind of activity this season--PLEASE--do a short post to let us know you are out there and interestd--it is impossible to come up with activities for 2 or 3 cars--it is an embarrasment --we have had 21 Marauders at an event--the most in the last 5-6 shows was 8, I believe. With Chucks gone, we can't let our great group of folks fall apart--there are many more things we can do together and there are shows and races that would love to have us show up in a large group--we did it before--let's get going again.
So I'll start the roll call:
I'm Maury, I'm 79 years old--live in Hurst , TX--2003 Black Marauder--300B (not decontented)--88,000 miles--Dennis Reinhart chip flash---enjoy car shows, drag racing, road racing and just getting together for a meal once in a while. Attended Maraudervilles I, II, III and plan to attend MV6 if we have one. Am willing to coordinate any activity--just have to know I have the support of a good group.
Now--that wasn't hard--now it's your turn.
LET'S GET BUSY POSTING !!!
See you all soon.:banana2::beer::burnout:

2nd Roll Call Post

Not going to try and out do Maury, however I will add my two cents. I'm Miguel, married, 2 dogs/2 cats, no kids, living in Wylie. "Max" is a 2004 Marauder Silver/Charcoal, Chrome Mirror Scalps and Huper Optik window tint. Look for me on PGBT or around Park and Preston most every work day.

Hi,,,,I am Mike I live in San Antonio, 33 years old, never been married and dont have any kids...have a 04 SilverBirch with 67K and still running strong....list of mods in my sig...havent been up there in a while but would like to get some of you northern guys down here for a picnic-carshow sometime...we have great parks and carshows every Friday and Saturday night....plenty of Hotels and lots of great sites to see. I even have some room for a couple of people to stay at my house.

We also have a new forum for those of you that may come visit and our own annoucements....Alamo Area Marauders....check it out some time!!

Newb here, David Potter, 41, married with three stunningly beautiful daughters. Currently I have a Sonic Blue '03 Cobra vert but my wife gave me the nod to keep the Cobra AND get a MM as a daily driver! I plan to have a Rauder next week and look to meet up with y'all, name the place and I'll try to be there (note the 3 kids and wife wildcard).

There was not a single MM at the Bankston Ford show...too much sand (GRAVEL if you ask me) on the road due to the snow that week. Decent showing of cool rides though.

There's a Ricekiller meet every Sunday afternoon, weather permitting. I hear it's loaded with exotics, muscle cars (both classic and late models). It would be awesome to meet somewhere close by and roll in with several Marauders. If you get some traction, 5 or more, I will check with the organizer to see if we could have the "alley" reserved... heck, I'll work on that even if I don't have a MM by next week! Let's see if there's a good Sunday for everyone to show.

(looks like a 30% chance of rain this week, I won't be there in the stang)

Go to ricekiller.com (you may have to register though) for more details, dedicated parking etc.

Hi I'm Pat,

I live in Bossier City, La. Been having the car supercharged at Reinhart's Automotive in Florida. Picked it up today and Patricia, my wife, and me plus Dennis and his wife are travelling to Louisville in two Marauders this day.

Should be able to do occasional GTG's this season. "Growing" family members require more of my time and energy than previous years.
Read "T" ball, track and field and babysitting for the three G-kids.

We have a local auto show monthly now, so maybe we can do something this way.

Regards,

Pat

Are you excited Pat??? Did you still keep the giggle juice?

And not to be totally off topic, I might be in the Irving area for several weeks in the upcoming months to do some new employee training at my company's corp. office.

Also can anyone comment on the housing market in the Irving or San Antonio area? Position might open up for me in those two areas and would be a larger pay increase to take it.

NTMM's

Hello all. I'm John & I, like Maury, was at MV-I. Don't currently live in Texas, but we're trying to get back to the Dallas area as soon as we can. Gina even has a house picked out with a view of TMS.

I'm where the weather sucks now, but have already had the MM to the track--two runs at 12.69 each. Hope to see ya'all soon.

Roll Call

I'm Steve, 46, single, no kids, inherited neighbor's pregnant cat. '04 stock DTR Charcoal interior 10k+, '93 stock Seafoam Green CV 128k, '68 stock White/Olive/White F100 360 2V 228k. I live west of Eagle Mt Lake. I was a subject of Eminent Domain by Tarrant County from my home of 16 years south of Eagle Mt Lake in '06. Had to sell my first car during my move. It was a non-running '71 White 2dr LTD with a black vinyl top, a 400cid cleveland 2V, 260hp x 400lbft, Dark red knit vinyl interior with stock high back bucket seats, a sqeeze handle shifter for the stock C6. 200k of the 264k I put on it myself between '79-'88.

I like car shows. Azle Chamber of Commerce schedules one every year during the 2nd week of September.

Projects: Looking at relocating the water softner out of the 18x20 garage which will increase the width from 16 to 18. Getting quotes to have a large storage building out in back to allocate 2 13x30 car spaces and the rest for storage. I kept the $3,600 central air and heat and $180 40gal water heater from my old home and plan to use it out back. The water heater was on sale at lowes in '01.

Ok, I'm Gary. Black 03 300A.

Unfortunately I've been traveling or otherwise jammed up for every GTG this year.

I would like to find another multi class cruise night event. I'm looking forward to meeting the new faces.

I really miss the Chuck's events. Where did the SVT'ers end up?

I am joey, live in Austin, Tx. I made it to last years centerville meet, hope there is something like that again. I have a 96GM that I am building up, mods are in the sig, tune, tranny/TC upgrade and brakes are up next:)

I am married, my wife and I are both doing our PhD's, hope to finish soon and become professors. We also work full time, so we stay plenty busy.

I am pretty active with the Alamo group, I try and make it to as many meets as possible.

For future reference, I am the video and photo guy, here is a link to the site I run with photo's from various shows:

Well, I'm still around. Seems like I've had a lot of things going on lately and not much time to work on my car. It has some Winter Blues. :help: It needs some TLC. I'll get it all done eventually and hopefully I'll be able to make some of the GTGs. :banana2:

Just saying Hi Maury! Us young guys still come around every now and then, but I dont believe i will be heading down south this year. Probably only west. But you are more then welcome to come up and see all of us Mass Marauders, there are about 15 of us around here.

Joe, if you do travel up around New England, let me know! We can get a pretty decent meet together in no time lol, we al live within about 1 hour from each other.

NO TRIPS FOR ME dAGGONE IT

hey Adam

If you look at the next post about roofers... STILL waiting to hear from Allstate, but looks like my plans have changed. Anywho north East from here
only means as far as Philly. born and raised there, left as soon as I could.
My family is still in that area but trips will have to take a second place to a roof.
