I think it's pretty sad to sit here and read what some of you have posted.
I know we have some very proud individuals within our Marauder family today, and being as old as I am, and seeing what I have seen throughout my life, I can say that I also share in those feelings for them, and for our country. This should be a very big step for all of us, but some of you refuse to open your eyes and see it.
Having said that, I hope you can all see why we have rules about discussing these kind of topics here, as it allows those of us with hate, fear, and total ignorance to ruin a totally great outlet that has been provided for us, to discuss the one thing that we all have in common. . . . . a big old heavy car, which originally was available in only one color.
I'm done with this thread. I won't add any more fuel to this fire.

BTW Obama is as much black man as he is a white man...he was raised by a white grandmother and mother in rural USA! Ha! White people win too! So I guess Spectagod loses that argument too. My two cents: Obama won and is now the President Elect. Its over. We come together as a nation and move forward. There are always going to be idiots on the far right or far left but most folks are closer to the middle. McCain gave a great concession speech and showed why he is still one of my favorite senators of either party. Lots of problems out there including Iraq, Afganistan (I still want to see UBL's head on a stick), the economy and much more. Sometimes a change in government is a well needed influx of new ideas. I dont buy this racial crap, more white people voted for Obama than black people. Everybody should just calm down and lets see what happens over the next year or so.

I am laughing reading this thread and watching people bicker and argue. Zack made his opinion known, and while he has a point in his argument it clearly offended someone. Its not Zack's fault it offended someone, he can not be responsible for how someone receives his message, but he is responsible for how that message is delivered.
Threatening another person only downgrades your point DTR. You are offended and thats fine. Clearly state as such and move on. Threatening, swearing, and name calling degrade both of you.
Seriously the bottom line is change is coming to America. A socalist change? A lack of guns? The world changes everyday. Women couldn't vote, look at the polls now. Anyone remember the plight of the first wave of immigrants to America? The Irish in the turn of the century. The Chinese when they were used to make the rail roads? Everyone standing here today has suffered in the name of America.
People will suffer, ideals will change, and life goes on.
Look at how great our country is today, and look what it took to make it. It takes change.
Just remember when the terrorists and said enemies approach they will not care who you voted for, if your white, black, democratic, or republican. They will care that you are standing under the Red white and blue

It was a mistake to elect a black Democrat from Chicago, who has allied himself with the Muslim Nation, who has pointedly and repeatedly told us how he's going to leave this country helpless and prostrate in the face of the relentless merciless enemy known as Al-Qaeda, and who has allied himself with The Weather Underground (our own homegrown terrorist element), who took advice and counsel from same, who tried to play himself off a poor black child helpless in America when in fact he was a State Department kid (doesn't cut any ice with me, an Army brat who always had to suck the hind tit when it came to living conditions)...there's your mistake.
