Wanted To Buy Jeep/ford rims? 5x5.5

Figured you all might have or know a cheap source.

I acquired an old military trailer awhile back. It needs new tires. The current tires are old dry rotted military tread with tubes. Max speed is 55 and they flex when you look at them. The current rims are 16, but only 5 inches wide. I might get a 205 on there. I need a wider tire for the trailer

I have been looking at old CJ rims, old Ford rims cause I thought those would be cheap. Not around here! People think they are made of silver if not Gold. Anyone know of a cheap set? I would rather not have a plain Jane steep rim, something with style would be nice. They would likely be painted flat black, matches trailer better.

I would like a pair of 15 or 16 inch rims, 7 or 8 inches wide. Bolt pattern must be 5x5.5.

I am not paying $50 a rim. I will run the crap out of the military tire before I do that. Fleabay does not have anything decently prices.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks!
Anthony

I have about 7 original steels off an early bronco, same bolt pattern you need but I don't remember the width. I'll check tomorrow, and if you want them two are yours for $20 plus shipping. If you need a wider hub opening I have some off a Scout 800 that will work.

Sounds great! Yeah, I forgot about the hub opening.n 4inch wide is what I need.

Your price sounds fair. Shipping quote to 94523, pleasant Hill, CA?

Could you send me a picture? Not true my worried about cleanliness, just like to look at the style--see what they look like and all.

Thanks!
Anthony

Here's one on a project Scout 800 that has a 4+" hub opening, 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern, 15", around 8" wide. Who's to say what some steel wool would could do. Give me a couple days to dismount the tires and check shipping. If you're interested

FWIW, the prices being paid for scrap metal have driven up the price on items such as what you are looking for.

Interested! Paypal is ready.

I got those rollers at a Farm and Fleet and they're real nice. One guy can move the thing around in tight spaces without the good ol floorjack. The ones I have aren't adjustable for width though, those 235's on 8" rims doesn't leave a whole lot of room. I don't think the 33's on the Bronco would fit. Anyway, I'd been kicking around the idea of getting a set and I'm glad I did.
