JLT CAI throwing codes

I just installed my JLT CAI , went to K-mart to test it out. Sounds ****ing great, I love it. But when i started my car up in the parking lot my check engine came on. I got my trusty SCT out and it read a 0113 - Intake air temp circuit high input, 0102- Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input and 1000- OBD test not yet complete ( this one is normal). Also the little breather goes on the input to the hose that was going from the left back drivers side engine to the factory intake tube, right? More info will come as my trusty G-tech will have a chance to get some readings this weekend. Thanks.

Check engine lamp on!

I had the exact same issue. It was due to one of the clamps not being tight. At least on removal this is the only thing that was uncovered.I did however check the connectioon to the maf by unpluging it and pluging it back in.It was secure cause I had to push the tab to get it to release. You are correct the elbow that is placed in the middle of the pvc tube goes in the small hose that is on the factory intake.I thought it needed an spaded adapter but thier is one in the factory tube that can be used. The pvc pipe has to be well inside both rubber connectors (reducer and the elbow) for the return (to the valve cover) tube to reach.Big help to use rubber lubricant (soap) and warm them up first!Great job and let us know how it goes!

Please double check all hose connections and MAF plug. The JLT it self shouldn't be the cause of a code. It sounds like something is loose or not plugged in.

The breather clamps to the plug in the valve cover that the PVC hose was connected to.

I just installed my JLT intake and love the sound and performance too! It's been 3 days with no problems, just lots of looks when I give full throttle.

I've had my JLT in for five months now, not one problem. The only difference is, it runs better and has more power. I just had it on the dyno, and the guys running it, said the engine runs flawlessly, air/fuel ratio perfect. They were impressed with it.

Joe.
