Wanted To Buy Marauder Needed

Hi guys,

It pains me to write this, but I totaled my car last week and I am now searching for another. Long story short, I attempted to avoid a deer in the road, lost control and hit the guard rail. The good news is that no other motorists were hurt and I walked away with no injuries other than a twisted ankle.

I would like to get somthing close to what I had. If anyone has any leads, other than what is currently in the "for sale" section, I would greatly appreciate it.

Save all the salvageable parts off the wrecked MM before they tow it to Marauder heaven.

Yes, I saw that one. It looks great but I think that it may be out of my price range. My adjuster is coming tomorrow to look at my car and determine it's value.

I plan to take everything that I can out of this car. It may take me until summer, but I'll take care of it. I am down in the dumps because I had alot done to the car (4.10's, Cobra Exhaust, etc.). The good news is that although the metal is crushed, the frame kept all the major stuff intact.
 
So sorry to hear this! :( The deer seem to be extra active in our area (even for this time of year). Best of luck in finding your next Marauder.

Thanks for all of the leads and kind words. I just got done with the adjuster and he said that he will get back to me tomorrow with what they are going to give me for the car. It was an 04 DTR/Dark Charcoal with 90k, heated seats, 6 cd. I guess I will get somewhere between 12 and 13 for it. I can throw a few grand on top of whatever I get to put towards another one.

The good news is that I don't need something right away, as I have an old Lincoln that I use for the nasty weather. So, in sum, I don't want to rush into anything; I simply want to make the best, most informed choice possible.
 
Sorry to hear this man! Good thing you only got a minor injury thats what matters. As for the deer....whens deer hunting season again?? ;)
But with the parts you do decide to save, are you considering on selling them or will you keep them for later use??
 
I think that I am going to take stuff for future use. At this point, I am unsure of whether or not I will be willing to sell parts. I will know better what is not needed when I acquire another one. Does anyone know what the scrap value of this car is? The Allstate representative told me that it will be detucted--on top of my deductable--from the final check they cut. Just curious, but if they tell me that its a couple of grand, I might be open to letting them have it.
 
I am walking away with $12,000. I have a couple of thousand saved that I can put towards a new one, so I can't afford much more than about 15 or 16k. That includes travel/shipping.
