In experienced hands, will an Xcalibrator4 Flash Tuner work - allow one to re-program the Marauder PCM to our liking?
I doubt it, but I am not a PCM expert.

A solution along these lines is what I would like. It would be perfect if I could program The Marauder PCM to identify as Mustang over the OBD2 port.
Yep, works over the OBD2, the bad news is the $600 a year subscription, a $1600 pass thru device and a capable laptop to make it all run. Now if you had a buddy in a Ford dealership.............![]()
Maybe you could have a two PCM setup. One to control the engine and transmission only and another to control the accessories. Splicing wires so that some are going to the engine PCM, others to the chassis PCM, and some spliced so they go to both.
I had to do something similar when I went to a standalone transmission controller. Speed sensor and throttle position had to be spliced and go to both computers.
Make sure the PCM will work for your model year car. The '03 transmission has a different pulse count per revolution than the '04 transmission.
The more I think about it the more this sounds like a viable option. Get the wiring harness from the Mach1 and mount the OBDII connector in the Marauder normal spot. Leave the Marauder OBDII connector hooked up to the Marauder PCM. Remount it in a concealed location.
Besides the laptop, where do I buy what is needed: pass-thru device and subscription?

Software is from Ford as well, you'll have to sign up for it through Fomoco.
I can tell you first hand, it IS NOT user friendly, It runs in Windows, but the stuff seems like it is designed for Europe.
