Marauder vs 2006 ss chevy impala

Those later model Impala SS had a 303 hp 5.3L V8.

0-60 in 6.4 sec
1/4 mile 14.46 @ 97.5 mph

It would smoke a stock Marauder...but its FWD = FAIL!!!!
 
my boy has a '06 SS. We raced almost 2 yrs ago, we went back and forth. you can check my mods in the sig below...i had cobra exhaust tho
 
both pure stock impala will win by almost a full second ,in quarter mile times ,and about 5mph.!! i have owned both .. mm is at least 500 lbs heavier, even though both rated 300 horses ,less cubes on mm ,and has to rev, and more torque with v8 impala. handiling is won hands down by mm. winter driving / winner impala.. they are two differant cars.. i have always liked both...
 
i had race one at the track i cut the light on him and he could never get back now my cousin has one and want to race i think i can take him
 
Off the line...all Impala with the LT1 Corvette motor and all that low end torque. Mid range the Marauder pulls harder and revs higher. Almost even in the quarter mile, at half mile Marauder wins.
