Hello Guys!

Since we are a new sponsor for mercurymarauder.net, I wanted to let everyone on the site get first dibbs on the original Marauder VT (as seen in MotorTrend Magazine). Since the article we also installed a Stallion Torque Converter.
The package includes the following:

The VT Stroker Shortblock with Oliver Racing Rods, JE Pistons & Rings, and VT 4340 Steel Stroker Crankshaft.
Also includes:Billet Oil Pump Gears, High Volume Oil Pump, and ARP Main and Head Studs
Supercharger kit includes: Paxton Novi 2000 Supercharger & Air-to-Air Intercooler. Also includes: 42 lb/hr fuel injectors, Fuel Pump, Battery Relocation & Rewiring Kit, 2 flex-a-lite trimline fans, and new sparkplugs.
Marauder VT also has 14" Baer Brake kit with vented rotors and custom welded 2 1/2" exhaust with high flow cats & high flow mufflers (utilized stock tips - for that stock look).
We also added custom Budnik wheels and Toyo Racing Tires to the package. To top it all off, we installed a rear spoiler adding to the styling of the car.

Please either call me or send me an email at schwalm@vtengines.com

What's the asking price? And just to make it easy on us, add a link to some pictures?
Thanks.

Since I'm not real affluent on attaching pictures yet, Logan said he would attach them for me. I sent them to him, so they should appear at any time. We do have some pics on our website at http://www.vtengines.com/marauder1.htm

As for price, we are asking $55,000. If you were to retail it out, you would spend $63,000-$65,000 building the same car. We wanted to offer a better price than that to the guys (and gals) on mercurymarauder.net

Still for sale

It was in the Detroit news last month for $27,500.00 It ran for a week in the ads.

Something must have happened to that car if it went from 55k to 27k, thats 28k cheaper. I called and inquired, not willing to work with payments.....:alone:

so go get financed from your bank and make payments to them and hand the car owner a check.

How many miles on this car? Hell, even I might be interested.

The original owners of VT sold the business last September to us. They kept the Marauder, and no longer need it so they're just trying to unload it. The car is a DOWN RIGHT STEAL at that price!! :banana2:

I've road in the car and it was nasty! Last time I saw it, it had ~2700miles on the odometer.

No point in my post, just explaining the circumstances behind the price drop.

Actually, that's the number at my shop

That # will not get you any answers, because my engine builders know nothing about the car/transaction. I will call the owner and have him post a new # on here shortly.

Thanks guys!

Ok boys.

Call 517-336-5910 and ask for Lance. He is the old owner of VT, and the owner of the Marauder.

Kick ass car for that little of money. :coolman:
