Marauders at Waterloo~ IOWA Labor Day Weekend Meet

Unfortunately Eric and I cannot join everyone in Iowa over Labor Day as we hoped. Sucks but can't be helped. Hope those of you who are going will have a great time!

Not looking good for us either. If anyone wants the reservation, before I let it go, PM me.

Not looking good Big Dog. As of right now it will be Joann, Joanne, and myself. If there is not going to be anyone else coming I may change our plans.

Update: It's not looking like my car will be done for the Labor Day weekend. If this is the reason you're coming, please check your reservations and maybe pick a better time to come out. Sorry, I really thought it would be ready.

Interstate Road Trip From Canada

:eek::eek:
So no track time.
I may shorten it to 3 days.:eek:

In route it's still worth checking out the Buddy Holly Crash Site in Clear Lake, Iowa & Iowa 80. :)

I was not racing but John I would have liked to see your car:)

WPG Merc I am also going to the crash site and the Surf Ballroom, the I-80 Truck Stop the Worlds largest is on the way to Waterloo. Let me know if you add anything, I plan to stop in Hibbing, Mn. at the National Museum one day probely Monday then head home.

So what are you saying Big Dog? Are you going to be in Waterloo for one day? It sounds like I will have to change my plans and stay in southern Indiana with my Dad. He is supposed to have Knee replacement surgery the 29th.

So how did this turn out ?? Haven't heard a peep from anyone. Looks like BDJ made the trip single-O and hit sights along the way. Euro-Marauderville was able to muster 4 cars for their part.

I saw Jim when he passed me on my way home from Chicago. I rolled my window down and waived, but he probably didn't recognize me in my Blue 17 Super Duty. He was moving!

I checked out the hotels when I got into Waterloo but not a Marauder to be found.

Oh well. It was good to see Jim and Garfield, even though it was for a very short time.

That was in a car. Imagine him behind the wheel of a coach!:burnout:
