Marauderville 2018

I would like to do Vegas again:):):)

Considering the lower attendance and long distances, not sure folks would do another Vegas again. You all would have to rent a car carrier. lol

Those that didn't manage to check out the Valley of Fire, it was amazing!

You driving down? No point in presenting a plan unless all you people talking crap are going to show up? :) But I really do not care. I will hang out with 5 of you or 50. Zero given.

Looks like Kansas is off the list with such a welcoming and arrogant attitude. There are about 40-50 people who regularly drive long distances to attend Marauder Events. Hammerdown is one of the regulars at Marauderville, Carlisle, and yes ... Even Louisville. If you attended regularly, you would know this !! Zero given.

That is good let's eliminate possible proposals based on a perceived attitude. There is nothing wrong with firing people up to get stuff done. Ill be sure to change my wording next time as not to upset grown adults. Some of you are way to serious. Do not question my participation in this community I am a regular at Louisville, maybe that is part of the problem. I hope there is a legitimate proposal from someone that still has a passion for these cars as well as this community of very diverse owners that is always evolving and changing.

Show up?

I don't think members will commit until they see a rough draft. Hotel attractions plans etc:)

The simple fact that we have to submit a proposal instead of the powers that be getting something together on their own shows that Marauderville is dead. Sorry, not sorry. Get off your arse, plan the event, tell us when and where. If you don't have time or interest to do so its time to hand off the reins.

...that's how MV has been since I've been here. Proposals are submitted by members, the 'powers that be' review all proposals, and pick which one they feel is best.

Nothing has changed so I'm not sure why you're taking issue with this all of a sudden.

I'll come down if Charlie doesn't... :D

If nothing is submitted, this is what happens. If they take matters into their own hands and "make" an event happen then people will follow to that event. Interest into these cars is declining every year and the average age of ownership is going down as these cars trickle into lower values. People younger than 30 are not going to take the time to price hotels yet alone plan a schedule for an event that may or may not happen because it interferes with a sight seeing trip to Alaska for the committee.

I don't have an issue with the way this has been ran in the past, I'm just giving some constructive criticism to help the event go forward.
