~~**Marauderville XIII - Official Itinerary**~~

Folks,

I'm pleased to present the OFFICIAL Marauderville 13 Itinerary. I want to preface this thread with a little bit of context, background and insight.

About a year ago (September 2014), the Emerald City Marauders were meeting up a local Mustang and Ford Show in Lacey, Washington. We all remarked how it would be great to have a regional West coast Marauder Meet up. Something similar to Louisville, Carlisle, New Hampshire or Marauderville in particular. We said "Why not Las Vegas?" it's a tourist destination, folks can fly in from most airport hubs and the guys from New Mexico, California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington etc can all make the drive. We pulled our resources together and came up with a rough draft of potential things to see and do and a Las Vegas Itinerary pretty much writes itself.

What started out as a quick conversation snowballed into planning this as a regional West Coast event first and then with all the pieces in place we decided to submit a bid for Vegas and got it!

So this is some quick background info but more importantly this will be the first Official Marauder specific event on the West Coast. We know there has been a lot of successful Marauder events on the East Coast and we borrowed the template (or blueprint, if you will) to make Vegas enticing. But we also wanted to promote Vegas Marauderville as a relaxed and casual event. We realize there is a lot to see and do in Vegas. There is no shortage of museums, casinos, shows, restaurants, etc.. That's why you will see our itinerary is focused on One Anchor event per day and leaving most of the afternoon and night free for other activities.

This is the OFFICIAL ITINERARY meaning this will be the Guide we will be using for all Member driven activities and tours. There may be additional posts in the next couple days with information on side events and group tours outside of this itinerary. I encourage you to make the most of your time in Vegas, but I do want to make sure the Official Itinerary is posted for folks ahead of time.

Any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!!!

Not that I am condoning speeding...BUT... if you cross the dam and get onto Route 93, head south toward I-40. There are no speed limits! I was doing 125 in a rented Shelby Mustang and cars were passing me. It is Vegas, of course you can rent a Shelby.
We drove from the Dam to the Grand Canyon in 3 hours flat.

VERY NICE!!!! Like I said, his is gonna be one that I regret not going to...Good luck and have fun, theres gonna be plenty of opportunities to for it...

You and TJ need to come with us. Test out those new mods you had done to your car.

The only thing stopping us is lack of vacation time:(:(:(, otherwise we'd be right there with ya...

Just get on a red eye Thursday night and be there Fri-Sun. Take flight home sunday night. Only would require 1 day of leave.

We may have an "add" here. :)

Unless a cool down happens during the days of the show, it will be quite warm during the day, sun screen, extra water, hat's, and finding shade is advisable.
