It's 20 right now I'll go for two sets. I think they should start taking preorders because people might lose interest If they wait for too long

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but last year the pre-orders took place in October and the tips were shipped in December...that's how they do it based on their work demands/schedule/etc.

Also, this year the per-order mark to hit is 30, IIRC...not 20 like last year.

I actually went back to the very first pages of this thread and got a good picture of how things went down last year. Pre-orders had already been going on for at least a month before I discovered the thread and jumped in before the deadline.

For those wanting an idea of how this year's run might go down, I suggest you read the first 8-10 pages of this thread...
 
I read the first few pages of the thread, what I expected. Lets stay postive, theres tons of interest I'm sure the Coneg guys get a production run going sooner than later

Kinda sounds like some of the guys that already have a set are hoping they don't do a run which is BS......:bs:
 
Oh man, couple of things here,

they will do a run at some point
these things are WORTH THE WAIT.
I hope all that want them get them...........

It's like Christmas day when the shipment hits your house.

That's 20 for sure. and up to potentially 27 sets. member IwantmyMMnow is not for sure buying one which is why he is not in the count.
 
May have to back out of this until I can identify next steps with my MM (or lack thereof) :(

:confused: How do you figure? Seems like everyone is hoping for another run, whether they have a set or not. Having these after market tips available (just like the Red Line floor mats and other products) is a positive for the Marauder community and as far as I could see there is no lack of support from everyone who's posted so far.

Fair enough just an observation (in error I guess). I'm hopin for a set tips and I've been on here religiously since I found the thread. I'll keep the faith and stay postive and hope the 20 other folks do the same........get on the list people and commit to a set its a fantastic upgrade!

:up: It's too early to be worried. We're not even in the window for ordering yet. I'm sure Cone Eng. will follow through on their plan to put out feelers starting in "September/October"as they stated in post #188 (below). The fact that we already have a pretty long list of interested members is a plus! Prolly once the OFFICIAL Cone Eng. thread on the tips goes up and members know it's do or die time, the number of orders should pick up. If history repeats, the tips will be delivered by Christmas. :)

I regret to say that I will have to back out of buying/holding a set for someone else. Good luck to you guys...I'm sure you'll get 'em!
 
I bought these last year but I'll order another set to help get this run started. I'd like to have a back up set. :D I'm in for 1 set. Preorder just sent to Cone Engineering VIA Email.
