Mercury Marauders Purchased by Saudi King ?

"5,000 were bought by the Saudi King in 03 and 04 for his sons and their friends to have as toys but they wanted more expensive toys. I understand most are still in the wharehouses. I would LOVE to get one of those"


I just dont think this is true. Is it? doesnt make sense...
 
IIRC one of our Saudi members posted a while back that his information disclosed that maybe 300 were in the Kingdom, not necessarily new.

I see someone read some of the Youtube comments on the 11,052 video.

I don't think they have 5000 of them over there, there would be a flood of videos with Marauders on two wheels or a guy wearing a bathrobe hanging on the side of one at 65mph. :rolleyes:

Probably less than that now since they seem to wreck them pretty frequently over there...

haha yes i did. I almost cried watching that video! and I dont even own a marauder...
 
Been to the Middle East and I tell ya... I wouldn't doubt it, but 5,000 just doesn't sound right.

Well the thing that troubles me is that there is NOTHING on the internet that supports that, literally thats the only comment you can find saying it.

Try not to believe everything you read on the internet. For a while there were websites talking about the 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Mercury Marauder which we all know there is no such thing.

No real harm in posting stuff like this however try and have a source, or some facts.

We have pretty much heard tons of stuff about our cars:)
