If anybody is interested in hooking up with myself, Pat, James79stang and LilAlleyKat, here are our two rally points:

Tuesday, 3pm: I-10/I-49 junction, Lafayette, LA

Tuesday evening: Comfort Inn, Pine Forest Road, Pensacola, FL

On Wednesday we will stop at the Don Garlits Museum and then on to the Seralago Hotel with late afternoon arrival. Any and all MMers are welcome.
 
Hey Guys I look foreward to seeing all of you early weds morning in the Comfort Inn parking lot where our cars are parked. It is roughly 385 miles to Big Daddy's parking lot. So I guess with a couple of stops its about 7 hrs. Say we are all on the road no later than 8:00 + 7hrs= 3:00pm...but remember we enter the eastern time zone after approx an hour on the road heading eastbound on I-10. So we should be able to pull into Big Daddy's close to 2 straight up. Then it should be no more than 1 hr to Seralago...Big Daddys is not huge and looks like a 45 minute tour to see everything at a liesurely pace... So arriving at the Seralago at 4ish would be my best estimate....The Orlando traffic will be very heavy when we arrive so add a half an hour there.... If anyone feels like this is a flawed estimated travel time please advise...AL

VORTEX, I'll meet you at Burger King at the intersection of I-49 and Burt Kouns in south Sherveport. I'll be there from 9.30 just call the cell phone.

Take a left on Bert Kouns, go under the bridge and the BK is on the left in front of Home Depot.

Pat, Just a clarification, if I meet you in Shreveport at 9:30 wont that mean we will get to Lafayette way before 3pm? Im trying to decide on my departure time here and was thinking Id leave here at 7 am getting me to Shreveport around 10 am. I usually drive about 70-73 mph. What time do you think I should leave here? (as youve made the trip a few times)
